Mount Putting Bato is considered as the
highest peak in Island Garden City of Samal. It is located in Sitio Tayapoc,
Barangay Alindanao. I went up to this mountain without a better
preparation. No sleep and no enough things for the hike just a bottle of water,
a camera and a towel. The entire trek was fine since it is easy to get there. I
was not just prepared for that bumpy ride from Peñaplata to
Sitio Tayapoc. I am telling you the long bumpy ride is much more a muscle pain
than climbing to the top. You will pass by grasses and cows, so better wear
something that will protect your legs and hands.

Hagimit Falls

It is past
noon. As I decided to go straight to Hagimit Falls after my breathless climb
and ride from Mount Putting Bato. I cannot explain why it took me this long to finally visit
a nearby island's most visited tourist spot, Hagimit Falls. The road going to
the falls has been developed by local government which makes it an easy 5
minutes ride from bus terminal. It is a long walk from the entrance to Hagimit
rock spring but quite relaxing because of nature's ambiance. After reaching the
end of the path walk, I am not that impress because I thought it is all that it
can offer, until I roam around. Though it has been developed and a lot of
cottages, bridges and even spa are built within the vicinity, the running water
and its natural beauty is still preserve. Its waters are bluish and inviting.
The strong current of water falling from the falls is simply saying "come
take a swim". The swimming area does not have even depth that is why
swimmers need to take extra precautions. The lower deck swimming area reaches
up to 10 feet while the upper deck is up to 7 feet deep and its layer is higher
than the one below. But not only that an interesting view and I call it soulful
can be found just behind the cottages where the water is passing to a rain
forest. It is a wide area of rock spring. A must see magical place.

Julie Anne San Jose: Enough
Song: Enough
Performed by: Julie Anne San Jose
Album: Julie Anne San Jose
Directed by: Mark Reyes
Under: GMA Records
Introducing: Ben Beaune (@Ben_Beaune on Twitter) and Elmo Magalona (@SuperElmo on Twitter)
Enough is one of my favorite songs in her
first album. I remembered how my friends and I talked about her having a first
album, her own video music, and performing it with much energy in a big venue.
Now that Julie has been anywhere promoting her music, I can’t help but smile. I
know all the adiks I met 2 years ago on Facebook, Twitter and Pinoy Exchange
are so proud of her well deserve blessings. I, along with the adiks can’t wait
to see you holding that platinum awards and I want to claim it higher, we will prepare
for the moment that you will receive that DIAMOND. Keep on soaring high Julie
Anne San Jose!

Can I write these things up?
Can
I write these things up? I kept on staring at nowhere. I do not believe
in information overload in relative to how much I have been thinking
nowadays. I am not getting crazier each day but I am getting too much of
everything I do not know. Or maybe I know but I could not weight which
one is much important. As of this moment I am not capable of spending on
anything that I don’t have or want to have. I still have to wait two
months, but can I sustain and delay my impulsive being? Nothing has
changed over the past years I still failed in planning. I was thinking
if I did wrong in helping out my family in small way I could and left
nothing because of giving chance to the gratitude that I always feel I
have responsibility with. Why it is so hard to survive when every little
thing you have needs to be shared?
While writing these random thoughts, I was listening to the song “Taking Chances”.
But what do you say to taking chances?
What do you say to jumping off the edge?
Never knowing if there's solid ground below or hand to hold, or hell to pay…
As
a confused one, after those lines, it is really strong and right to
say, “I just wanna start again…

On the RoAd
I have billion
of reasons why I rather stay on the road with all the inconveniences than stay
at home with a wandering mind. You will never see how perfect things really are
unless you appreciate every beauty that God created. Over and over again, I am
blessed to have witnessed these beauties. I know there are a lot more to come
as long as my eyes are ok and as long as I can still support this vice.
