Panas Waterfalls Inland Resort

Panas Inland Resort is an ecotourism site located in Carcor New Corella, Davao del Norte. It has layered waterfalls and flowing pools for kids and adult. Cottages are provided within the resort. It is being developed by the tourism body of New Corella as one of their pride natural beauty. One cannot really resist the magical waterfalls. The resort is not crowded since it is situated in the forest protected area of Carcor.

How to get here:
From Ecoland Terminal Davao City ride a bus to Tagum City Terminal for 80 pesos. Then you need to ride a jeep in Pereyhas Terminal just in front of Tagum Overland transport terminal to New Corella Poblacion for 30 pesos. Then, from New Corella terminal you need to hire a motorcycle heading to Panas Inland Resort which cost 30 pesos per person.
Resort's Entrance Fee: 10 pesos

Pool User Fee:
Adult Pool is 10 pesos per person
Kiddie Pool is for free
Cottages are free to use. There are locals sari-sari store inside the resort but they don't serve delicacies...just a plain sari-sari store. So you might as well bring your own viand.

Well, as usual I could not help myself from taking more pictures. So here's more with my Panas Crew; Khokong Xiao Yu and Brynt.

If you want to experience caving in the nearby caves you need to contact the Ecotourism Department of the Municipality of New Corella or this number +639212656668. The caretaker told us they have tour guides for that activity and its free of charge for a group of ten or more.

  2. The pools look good in pictures but when we went here, they're not actually pretty. Good news is Panas Waterfalls is lovely and its enough reason to head here and there's a shallow portion of Panas Waterfalls where children can swim.

  3. Hi Jane,

I think the pools were newly constructed when we visited in 2011, so I think that's why. I hope I could go back soon to see place and the development. :). Thanks for visiting!
