Compassionate 2014!!!

How good it is to know we have a great God who walks beside us every day. Thank you, Father, for Your faithfulness to me this past year. You truly are faithful to fulfill Your promises. I look to You for all I need. And I am praying that all the people I encounter will always remember how You blessed them with Your unconditional love.

Ready for a better 2014. Happy New Year!

Kapatagan Davao del Sur

Kapatagan Digos Davao del Sur: Cold Heaven

Sunrise at Lake Mirror
City life will drain you down to the level wherein fresh air is impossible to breathe; preoccupied with work and close to impossible sleep. Working hard never requires you to be worn out of the nicest place around.

When I thought of going to Kapatagan Davao del Sur, I was just thinking of the sunset and the sunrise, but I was blessed enough to see the grandeur of His creations and embrace breathtaking adventure of which I need to face. Well, I just shout out loud my fear of heights…I was literally shaking but I managed to laugh and shout, THANKS MUCH, This is LIFE, rock it on!

Food: Boiled Okra

In a country like mine where agriculture is one of the main source of food, vegetable is the cheapest but the healthiest you can serve.

This is just...
Boiled Okra
Fresh Tomatoes
Fish Sauce

Talicud Island: Scuba Diving with Carabao Dive Center

It was a wonderful day. A day full of enthusiasm to just do it even if I am less capable. This is how I always look at life, anything is possible. I don’t know how to swim, and I have that panic mode on when water is already at my neck level. But no one else can make me do something I thought I could not, it is only Me.

Five Languages of Love

The first day of the Ber months, it is not a love month; just want to post something about love. A friend showed me an article about the five of languages of love. Shame, I’m 28 and I didn't have any idea about these languages. Let me give it a space…

Words of Affirmation

The power of saying nice words that could build your mate’s self image and confidence never fails to brighten a partner whose love language is receiving words of affirmation.

Quality Time

Some spouses believe that being together, doing things together and focusing in on one another is the best way to show love. If this is your partner's love language, turn off the TV now and then and give one another some undivided attention.

Gifts

It is universal in human cultures to give gifts. They don't have to be expensive to send a powerful message of love. Spouses who forget a birthday or anniversary or who never give gifts to someone who truly enjoys gift giving will find themselves with a spouse who feels neglected and unloved.

Acts of Service

Discovering how you can best do something for your spouse will require time and creativity. These acts of service like vacuuming, hanging a bird feeder, planting a garden, etc., need to be done with joy in order to be perceived as a gift of love.

Physical Touch

Sometimes just stroking your spouse's back, holding hands or a peck on the cheek will fulfill this need.

All five are my love languages but the strongest language is Quality Time. Nothing beats someone who never fail to find time to be with me. Whether it just plain talking or spending time on an activity. It is priceless. Thus, never use the "busy" on me because I will not use it on you unless I am mad. :D
