The Commandment

 Honor your father and your mother: that your days may be long upon the land which the LORD your God give you... ~Exodus 20:12.
 

Honor your father and your mother, as the LORD your God had commanded you; that your days may be prolonged, and that it may go well with you, in the land which the LORD your God give you... ~Deuteronomy 5:16.
 

Ye shall fear every man his mother, and his father . . .  ~Leviticus 19:3.
 

Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right. Honor your father and your mother; which is the first commandment with promise; That it may be well with you, and thou may live long on the earth. And, fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord... ~Ephesians 6:1-4.
 

Children, obey your parents in all things: for this is well pleasing unto the Lord. Fathers, provoke not your children to anger, lest they be discouraged... ~Colossians 3:20-21

Note:  

God is never wrong in giving this as one of the Ten Commandments. He gave us our parents. Just like the gift of Life, parents are precious too.

As a child we may not understand well why our parents are like this and like that. We may complain when in times of misunderstanding with them. We may sometimes wish they were not our parents. Remember, God chose them to guide us all throughout this life because He knows they are the best parents for us.

Every time we hate them, we asked why them, or even cursed them, always put in mind and in heart that you are hurting God.

We are not perfect and if we feel hate and anger for our parents the best thing you can do is PRAY to God. Let God handle the hatred, anger and confusions. He will take all that bad emotions and thinking from you. He will clear your mind and show you that He is a faithful God. You have your parents because He loves you. His intentions are perfect.

When you let God take over...you will become a better child. You will become better in a way that you will be more understanding, patient and loving. Respect your Parents no matter what!

These are two of my favorite quotes regarding chances and possibilities. God gave us this precious gift of life for us to enjoy and nurture all His creations. And part of enjoying life is the consequences of how we live it. There are times that we keep on searching the real meaning of happiness and fulfilment in life. We come across many challenges. And we never run out of ways on how to survive this world with a smile in our face. Yes, we should not stop living until God take away what we borrowed from Him. Let us continue to think and live better for we only pass this life once. :)

I was once a teacher and I knew how it was of being one. Indeed, it is one of the noble profession I know. It takes a lot of passion to share wisdom and great determination to share principles that will build a better foundation of the incoming generations.

I salute every second a teacher spend to make his/her profession a useful one. For all the teachers, I adore you! Shout Out!
